Bond Dickinson makes up six in first combined partnership round

Bond Dickinson has unveiled its first round of promotions since the merger between Dickinson Dees and Bond Pearce, which went live last week (1 May).

The firm has promoted six associates. The firm’s London and Bristol bases were both boosted with two promotions while there was one apiece for Newcastle and Leeds.

The merger, which was voted through by partners at both firms in December 2012 (6 December 2012), bought the combined firm’s tally of offices up to eight.

Last year Bond Pearce made up five partners (2 May 2012) while Dickinson Dees promoted just one in Newcastle (16 May 2012).

Since the merger announcement the firm says it has picked up a number of new clients, among them are Education Funding Agency and Colgate Palmolive.

The promotions in full:

Ross Baker (insurance claims, London)

Alex Hirom (construction & engineering and commercial disputes, London)

Peter Maxwell (restructuring & insolvency and corporate & commercial services, Newcastle)

Victoria Redman (planning & infrastructure and real estate, Bristol)

Ewan MacGregor (regulatory & environment, Bristol)

Alistair Scott-Somers (corporate and corporate & commercial services, Leeds)
