Media boutique Schillings has been awarded two ABS licences by the SRA, bringing the total number of firms on the ABS register to 100.
The SRA granted the licences on 14 February and they become effective on 30 April and 1 May.
One of Schillings’ licences is in the firm’s name, while the other is for Schillings Corporate Services, trading as Schillings and Vigilante Bespoke.
Schillings Corporate Services is a limited company which owns Vigilante Bespoke, which according to its website is a cyber-security provider which specialises in protecting and managing technology for high-profile individuals and companies with confidential data. According to Companies House filings, the directors of Schillings Corporate Services are the firm’s senior partner Keith Schilling, chief executive Rod Christie-Miller, chief operating officer Christopher Mills and finance director Paul Colebourne.
A wide variety of firms have now been granted ABS licences, from Co-operative Legal Services, which was one of the first licensees (28 March 2012) through to the likes of national firm Simpson Millar, which won its licence in February (6 February 2013).
