What is it about receptionists and Integreon? Both Osborne Clarke and now CMS Cameron McKenna are in the process of weighing up operational shifts away from the outsourcing provider that would see facilities such as their reception functions transferred to a different outsourcer.
There’s a good chance clients will still be seeing the same faces when they walk into the offices, but those friendly receptionists may well no longer be under the employ of Integreon. OC is switching its Bristol and Reading hospitality (including receptionists) to Mitie, which currently handles its London hospitality operations, while CMS is consulting on a possible reallocation of its facilities (understood to include parts of maintenance, health and safety and reception) to an “alternative third-party provider”. Who’s the lucky winner this time?
The possible reasons for moving away from Integreon are varied: pricing, service, a firm’s desire for control and the issues associated with being separated from crucial parts of the business.
Both CMS and Osborne Clarke will retain a relationship with Integreon and look like they’ll continue to give it business, but are we seeing a shift in the legal outsourcing landscape?
