Financial Times commends Minter Ellison for development of BoardTRAC

Minter Ellison has been ‘Highly Commended’ for its innovation in corporate strategy by the Financial Times (FT), which has launched its inaugural FT Asia Pacific Innovative Lawyers Report.

The report recognises law firms headquartered or operating in the Asia-Pacific region that have brought original legal thinking and practice to business issues.

Underpinning Minter Ellison’s ranking is its development of BoardTRAC, which the firm describes as a secure, intuitively simple, cost-effective and Australian-hosted online boardroom solution for directors, company secretaries, general counsel and senior management.

BoardTRAC comprises an iPad application downloadable from Apple’s App Store and a secure administration portal accessible on any web browser.

The app provides secure access to board packs and governance materials via the user’s iPad and enables the user to maintain all of his or her boardroom connections within one application. Content can be received in any language (including Chinese).

The portal gives administrators complete control over the materials deployed to users’ iPads and enables them to manage board and committee member profiles, meetings and documents.
