DLA Piper has announced that Kevin Lytle and Craig Cartwright have joined the firm’s real-estate practice as partners in the Phoenix office.
Lytle and Cartwright have a diverse real-estate transactional practice focused on representing public and private real-estate investment vehicles and other commercial entities. Over the past three years, they have handled more than $4bn (£2.3bn) in portfolio and single asset transactions.
Lytle represents public and private real-estate investment trusts, other commercial entities and individuals. His experience extends to all aspects of sales and acquisitions, leases, sale-leasebacks, construction and permanent loans, acquisition loans, refinancings, loan and lease modifications and workouts and intercreditor agreements.
He also has experience in business entity creation, including bankruptcy-remote structuring and commercial landlord-tenant law.
Cartwright advises clients on a range of transactional real-estate matters, including secured lending, property development, commercial leasing, sales and acquisitions, entity formation, bankruptcy workouts and construction-related matters.
Both lawyers join the firm from Snell & Wilmer.
