Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co’s employment team has launched an interactive web-based training product designed to leave managers better equipped and more confident to handle disciplinary issues.
The training product is claimed to use cutting-edge learning psychology and the medium of gaming to create a fun way of helping businesses avoid the cost of employment tribunals further down the disciplinary route.
This is the first in a series of gaming modules developed by the firm working with Cognify, an e-learning technology designer. It focuses on common pitfalls during disciplinary processes and is designed to ensure those chairing hearings gain confidence and make informed decisions.
Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co, Cognify and a number of major employers are already working on modules covering other employment topics including diversity, managing grievances, performance management and absence management, all of which help businesses raise awareness of policies and procedures among staff.
