Harriet Jerram’s key practice areas are clinical negligence and personal injury. She also represents clients at inquests, public inquiries and before disciplinary bodies.
Jerram undertakes a full range of clinical negligence work for both claimants and defendants. She acts as a junior in high-value brain and spinal injury cases, but also represents clients in a range of lower-value cases. Her experience encompasses the areas of obstetrics, surgery (including plastic surgery), oncology, accident and emergency medicine and issues surrounding consent.
Jerram’s personal injury practice includes employer’s liability, road traffic accidents, and Animals Act claims. She has particular experience in equine cases.
Jerram has a diverse healthcare practice. She has represented doctors at the GMC and FHSAA, but also advises trusts on a range of matters, including capacity to consent to treatment, PII applications and human rights issues.
