Christopher Gibson practises in all types of high-value clinical negligence and personal injury cases.

He has extensive experience in cases involving injuries of maximum severity including, in particular, cases of cerebral palsy involving birth injuries to children where allegations are made in respect of the obstetric and neonatal management.

He has experience of psychiatric cases, involving post-traumatic stress disorder cases where the injury is secondary to clinical negligence, as well as cases of psychiatric negligence. Gibson also undertakes non-medical personal injury cases and he has considerable expertise in legal negligence cases arising out of personal injury and medical cases where the allegation is that they have been mishandled or under-settled.

As a legally qualified chair of Fitness to Practise Committees of the General Pharmaceutical Council he builds on his extensive regulatory experience.
