For the raven lunatics taking off this weekend, brace yourselves. This is apparently one of the times to fly. As everyone crams into the UK’s busiest airports, it’s London City airport’s ‘tern’ to wrap up their competitive tendering.
Toucan play that game. Birmingham-based Wragge & Co and Eversheds are the two big winners, taking preferred supplier status for London’s fifth-largest airport. But in total the pheasant process has seen four firms win favoured status with the businesses legal department. Swan fine move.
So as they get through with flying colours, the flightless penguin gets mention elsewhere in the legal market. Here, newly-merged book publishing company Penguin Random House has appointed Penguin Books’ HR and legal director Helena Peacock to the new role of group legal director in the UK. Good gull!
We should really tweet about this.
