DLA Piper takes part in Business Birmingham initiative Business Catalyst

DLA Piper is taking part in Business Catalyst, an initiative by Business Birmingham that aims to provide support for eligible investors for at least six months as they become more established.

The law firm will be offering 20 hours of free guidance to overseas companies who are seeking to invest in the UK. This support ranges from meeting with business leaders during visits to Birmingham to discuss specific issues that could be encountered in relation to any future operations in the UK to bespoke reports with guidance on key UK legal and regulatory requirements.

DLA Piper currently offers inward investors assistance with issues such as locating suitable business premises, company formation, supply chain and employment advice, among other things.

Fiona Thomson is leading the contribution from DLA Piper and will be working alongside other fee earners from the Birmingham office.
