Shoosmiths is providing legal advice to convenience chain One Stop on its move into franchising. The law firm has acted for the convenience store chain for around 10 years and by the end of February will have helped it open up to 20 new franchises.
Five pilot stores have already opened successfully in England and Wales.
According to One Stop, its franchise model is aimed at ‘good independent retailers who want to develop a long-term retail partnership and take their business to the next level’.
Led by commercial, Shoosmiths already provides the West Midlands-based chain with a full range of legal services, including real estate, property litigation, regulatory, employment and intellectual property.
