Hogan Lovells has announced that it is participating in the OnRamp Fellowship, a new programme in the legal profession aimed at facilitating the re-entry of experienced female lawyers.
This programme is designed to match experienced, female lawyers returning to the profession with law firms for a one-year, paid training fellowship. Through the OnRamp Fellowship, returning female lawyers will have an opportunity to demonstrate their value in the marketplace while also increasing their experience, skills and legal contacts.
Hogan Lovells will select from among qualifying applicants who have completed a rigorous screening process, including (1) a variety of online skills, personality and values assessments; (2) a writing assessment developed by leading legal writing authority Ross Guberman; (3) a personal essay regarding career aspirations and skills sets; and (4) a behavioural interview conducted by a lawyer-hiring expert.
Hogan Lovells, along with the three other pilot firms, is expected to launch the fellowship programme in late April/early May 2014.
