Conyers Dill & Pearman appoints Erik Bodden to its Cayman Islands office

Conyers Dill & Pearman has announced that Caymanian attorney Erik Bodden has joined its Cayman Islands office. Bodden, who was previously on secondment in London, was called to the Cayman Bar in December 2013.

He obtained his LLB from the University of Liverpool in 2011, graduating with first-class honours. He completed the Bar Professional Training Course in London in 2012 and was called to the Bar of England and Wales by Inner Temple the same year.

Bodden then went on to complete a traditional and commercial chancery pupillage in Lincoln’s Inn at Ten Old Square and Serle Court. Once fully qualified as a barrister in London, he was seconded to the disputes team at Farrer & Co. Upon his return to Cayman, he joined Conyers’ litigation and private client departments.

In recognition of his scholastic achievements and dedication to the profession, Bodden was presented with Conyers’ Legal Scholarship Award from 2009 through to 2013.
