London law firm Collyer Bristow, which has an in-house contemporary art gallery, will be taking a break from its programme of independently curated shows to exhibit the work of partner Steven Heffer.
Heffer, a litigation lawyer and head of Collyer Bristow’s media, sports and culture group and its reputation management team, is described as an established painter. He trained at the Slade in the 1990s and has exhibited his work throughout the UK over the last 15 years.
On show will be a collection of recent works, many of which focus on the River Thames, the South Downs and the sea and rivers in and around East Sussex.
The gallery will also be displaying a small exhibition by students from Pursuing Independent Paths (PIP), a London-based charity that supports disabled adults with learning disabilities. A donation will be made to PIP from any sales of Heffer’s work during the show.
The show will run from 3–27 February at Collyer Bristow Gallery in London, with a private viewing on 5 February.
