Brazilian boutique Brandi Partners is going international with offices in Paris and Dubai as well as associations in Portugal and Turkey.
The Paris office will have seven partners, all hired from boutique local firms. Relations between Paris and Brazil will be coordinated by Guillaume Dolidon, a corporate partner who was most recently a partner at French firm Aklea and previously worked at Shearman & Sterling and Salans.
Dolidon will be joined by fellow corporate partners Marc Solovei, who previously ran his own firm, and Olivier Dutour and Frédéric Maury, who set up Dutour Maury last year. Litigator Michel Henriquet, name partner at boutique Henriquet Leclercq & Partners, will be responsible for Brandi Partners’ African and Middle East activities. The team will also include SGTR partner Alexandra Bellet, who specialise in employment law.
Brandi Partners founder Arthur Brandi, who set up the firm in Brazil in 1987, will work alongsde Dolidon and the rest of the team to advise clients active in Brazil, the Middle East, Turkey, Russia and the CIS countries, as well as Portuguese and francophone Africa.
The firm is forming associations with Portuguese firm Leitão de Sousa and Franco-Turkish firm Gürhan to extend its capabilities into these countries.
