DLA Piper has announced that James Brogan, Paul Hall, Joseph Kernen and Norman Leon have been recognised in BTI Consulting Group’s newly published report, The 2014 BTI Client Service All-Stars.
The report recognises lawyers who deliver ‘the best client service to Fortune 1000 clients’. Lawyers appear on the list only when they have been named by clients through BTI’s extensive interviews between 11 March 2013 and 22 July 2013.
Brogan, managing partner of the firm’s Philadelphia office, was nominated by a Fortune 100 industrial manufacturer. His practice includes commercial disputes, intellectual property, products liability and toxic torts and he advises on discovery, risk management, loss prevention, litigation training and cost containment.
Hall, a partner in the litigation practice in San Francisco whose practice particularly emphasises class actions involving financial institutions, unfair competition, labour and corporate acquisitions, was nominated by a leading bank.
Kernen, a partner in DLA Piper’s litigation practice in Philadelphia and Short Hills, New Jersey, was nominated by a high-profile retail trade organisation. He has served as lead counsel defending motor vehicle and other consumer products manufacturers, as well as telecommunications companies, insurance companies and lending institutions, in class action matters.
Leon, a partner in DLA Piper’s litigation and franchise and distribution practices in Chicago and the chair of the firm’s franchise and distribution litigation practice, was nominated by an international hospitality group. He represents franchisors in federal and state courts and alternative dispute resolution forums throughout the US.
