Wolrich plays an active role with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), where he currently serves as chairman of the Commission on Arbitration. He is the former chairman of the ICC Task Force on ICC ADR Rules. In addition, he is a member of the Steering Board on Dispute Resolution Services and the Editorial Board of the ICC Bulletin. He has drafted several regulatory documents for the ICC, including ICC ADR Rules, ICC Rules for Expertise, ICC Dispute Board Rules and Guidelines for Arbitrating Small Claims.

His arbitration activities include acting as chairman of arbitral tribunals and sole arbitrator, co-arbitrator and counsel for claimants and respondents in connection with ICC, International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), Netherlands Arbitration Institute (NAI), Stockholm and ad hoc arbitrations. These arbitrations have involved applicable laws of jurisdictions such as Algeria, Canada, Congo, England, France, Gabon, Hong Kong, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Luxembourg, New York and Switzerland, with disputed amounts ranging from $10m to more than $2bn.

Wolrich is also a Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR)-accredited mediator and has acted as dispute board chairman. He regularly publishes articles and speaks at universities and international conferences concerning arbitration matters.

He has acted as chairman and speaker at various conferences, including ICC, Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA) and International Bar Association (IBA) events.
