Jeremy Hoyland is the managing partner of the firm and has held that position since May 2011.
Jeremy joined the firm in 1989 as an articled clerk, and qualified into the Banking and Capital Markets Department in London in 1991. He became a partner in 1997. He worked in the Hong Kong office as Head of International Finance from 1998 to 2001. After returning to London, Jeremy led the Capital Markets Group and then in 2005 became head of our Financial Markets Department (later International Practice Group) and head of our Financial Institutions sector, at that time, one of four key priority areas for the firm.
He held a number of management roles in the firm, including being a member of the London Management Committee and member of the International Executive Committee prior to being elected managing partner in late 2010.
Jeremy has a broad range of financial markets experience, in particular in securitised derivatives and asset-backed securities. He has been the firm’s client partner for a number of our larger bank relationships and is currently the client partner for the Royal Bank of Scotland.
