Adam Dowdney is a partner in the Corporate group in the Shoosmiths Thames Valley office. Dowdney has considerable experience in all aspects of corporate and corporate finance work, including mergers and acquisitions (acting for both buyers and sellers), MBOs and MBIs and fundraisings for public and private companies.
Dowdney also acts for clients on shareholder and joint venture agreements, restructurings and general company law matters. He also has expertise in public company work, including AIM listings and fundraisings and public company takeovers.
He has run a number of large and complex transactions for clients in a variety of sectors and is commercially astute, with an excellent reputation within the professional community in the Thames Valley and among clients as a dynamic and committed lawyer, who is highly recommended in both Legal 500 and Chambers.
Dowdney joined Shoosmiths in June 2012, having previously been a partner at Pitmans in Reading. He started his career in London with Linklaters and Charles Russell before moving to the Thames Valley in 2004.
