One Direction star Harry Styles turned to 5RB media barrister David Sherborne to secure an injunction preventing the paparazzi from pursuing him.
The 19-year-old boy band star was granted a court order by Mrs Justice Nicola Davies and is aimed at preventing alleged harassment by photographers.
He turned to long-time adviser Lee & Thompson to launch the case, with litigation head Mike Brookes instructing Sherborne.
The injunction prevents photographers from pursuing the singer by car or motorbike, placing him under surveillance, loitering or waiting within 50m of his place of residence to monitor his movements or take photos of him in such circumstances, according to the Telegraph.
So far it covers one paparazzi but four others are in the process of being identified based on the names and addresses listed in the DVLA database.
The case will proceed in January 2014, when the judge will decide how the action should proceed.
