Gateley raises thousands for blood cancer charity Anthony Nolan

Following a year of fundraising activity, Gateley has raised almost £13,500 for its 2013–14 national charity Anthony Nolan.

Anthony Nolan, now in its 40th anniversary year, was the world’s first bone marrow register. The blood cancer charity matches people willing to donate their bone marrow to patients in need of a transplant.

Over the course of a 12-month period, Gateley organised a number of charitable activities. Highlights included the firm’s annual Midlands Deal Dinner which raised £3,200, a Christmas candy cane delivery service, dress-down days, bake sales, sweepstakes, half-marathons and even the London Marathon.

Following a donor recruitment drive, 21 members of staff from the firm also joined the bone marrow register themselves.
