Allen & Overy has announced its support of the 40th annual Fordham conference on international antitrust law and policy, which will take place on 26–27 September 2013 at the McNally Amphitheatre of Fordham Law School in New York.
The event will see two days of debate on a range of issues related to antitrust policy and enforcement and will play host to close to 400 participants, including representatives from competition authorities from Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin/South America and North America, members of the judiciary, private practice and the academia.
This year’s conference will focus on competitor agreements from the perspective of US, EU member state and Brazilian law. Another topic will be the future of unilateral conduct enforcement and policy debated from an EU angle (Joaquin Almunia, EU commissioner for competition) and the US (Edith Ramirez, chair, Federal Trade Commission).
Allen & Overy has supported the conference for a number of years and members of its antitrust team regularly attend or speak.
