Wragge & Co’s projects team has advised facilities management provider Lovell on a new £32.8m facilities management contract. The contract is for the delivery of facilities management across a £300m housing project in North Tyneside.
The development, one of the largest of its kind, will comprise 924 apartments across 10 new and 16 refurbished housing schemes designed for elderly residents.
The Wragge & Co team worked with Lovell — a subsidiary of long-standing client Morgan Sindall Group — to deliver a detailed facilities management contract for the upkeep of the apartments over the next 28 years. As well as long-term maintenance, the contract also provides for responsive repairs, planned and cyclical maintenance, repairs to void properties and gas and electricity servicing and testing.
