ILO names Pillsbury partner Tumbridge as winner of client service award

For the second year in a row, Pillsbury partner James Tumbridge has been named the exclusive recipient of the 2014 Client Choice Awards from International Law Office (ILO) in the area of litigation in the UK.

Tumbridge leads Pillsbury’s intellectual property and litigation groups throughout Europe and is one of only 26 litigators awarded worldwide.

One client said: ‘I do not know what services and professionalism other lawyers can provide, but if they can beat James in his attitude, knowledge and approach I would be astonished.’ Another said: ‘His expert knowledge was clear for all to see, but he also had the professional contacts to solve problems readily at hand for seemingly every eventuality.’

Since 2005, the Client Choice Awards have recognised those law firms and partners around the world that stand apart for the excellent client service they provide. The criteria for the awards focus on the ability to add real value to clients’ businesses above and beyond other players in the market. The awards survey senior corporate counsel only, with this year’s winners chosen from a pool of more than 2,000 individual client assessments.
