HotDocs, the Edinburgh-based software company that provides industry-leading automated document generation software, has been placed within the top 50 fastest growing technology companies in the North of the UK.
The Northern Tech Awards, organised by GP Bullhound, have been running since 2011 and rank the Top 50 Fastest Growing Technology Companies by revenue growth over the past three years – HotDocs is one of these companies for 2014.
Hugh Campbell, Managing Partner at GP Bullhound, said: “The Northern Tech Awards are a celebration of the boundless energy and growing ambitions of tech entrepreneurs in the North. As an industry we have to be careful not to be too London-centric and these awards shine a light on the achievements of businesses across the region.”
Since the acquisition of the global HotDocs business from US-based LexisNexis in 2009, HotDocs Limited has more than doubled revenues and enhanced its position as market leader for document generation technologies, with more than 60% of law firms who utilise document assembly software choosing HotDocs.
Gary Eunson, Commercial Director at HotDocs, concluded: “We are obviously delighted to have ranked so highly at the Northern Tech Awards 2014 within a UK region that boasts tens of thousands of technology companies. HotDocs’ accelerated growth can be attributed to a number of different things, including attracting and retaining the best possible team, an ambitious growth strategy and innovation in product development. We anticipate further revenue increase as we deliver to our strategic plans for 2014 and beyond.”
