Binder Grösswang’s Schneeweiss is now attorney at law in Austria

Dr Hermann Schneeweiss LLM (Harvard) will be added to the list of attorneys at law practising in Austria on 1 April 2014.

He was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales at the beginning of 2014 and has been a member of the bar in New York since 2009.

Schneeweiss specialises in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), particularly private equity and venture capital transactions, as well as in family-owned enterprises, and advises Austrian and international clients.

He has been a member of Binder Grösswang’s corporate/M&A team since 2013. Prior to that, he worked as a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group in Vienna, as an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York, and as a research associate at the Institute for Austrian and International Tax Law of the Vienna University of Economics and Business.

He studied law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (Dr. iur. 2011), Harvard Law School (LLM, Fulbright Fellow, 2008) and the University of Vienna (Mag. iur. 2004) and is the author of a number of publications on cross-border transactions and international tax law.
