BDK hires Zahirović to its Banja Luka office

BDK has welcomed associate Emina Zahirović to its Banja Luka office in Bosnia & Herzegovina (Republika Srpska).

Zahirović obtained her LL.M in international law from the University of Westminster in 2013 with honours and her LL.B from the Law School of the University of Sarajevo in 2011.

She is a member of the Bar Society of the University of Westminster. While in London, she worked as an intern at Descartes Solicitors.

As a law student, Zahirović took an active part in a number of legal workshops and competitions organised in Bosnia and abroad. She was a trainer in the 2012 Regional Moot Court Competition in Human Rights in Serbia. In 2011, she led the Sarajevo MOOT Club as the chief prosecutor at MICC (Model of International Criminal Court) in Poland.

In the 5th Regional Moot Court Competition in Human Rights organised in Macedonia in 2012, Zahirović was commended as the best state agent in a simulated case among 12 law schools.

Zahirović s joining of BDK in Bosnia is part of the firm’s plan to grow its office in Banja Luka and diversify the range of legal services it offers to clients in Bosnia & Herzegovina.
