Allen & Overy (A&O) has confirmed that it has offered positions to four former King & Wood Mallesons trainees, as well as a future joiner.

Graduate recruitment partner Claire Wright said: “We have offered four current KWM trainees a position at A&O. Future KWM trainees were asked to apply through our usual graduate recruitment process, interviews for which will continue for the next month, and we have already made one offer. We’re pleased to be able to help at this difficult time.”

Separately, Holman Fenwick Willan has also confirmed that it has taken on one trainee. It brings the total number of ‘current’ KWM accounted for to 45 out of a total of around 60.

Lawyer 2B understands that US firm Vinson & Elkins has also offered a position to one future KWM trainee.
