ANDREW WILLIAM ARTHUR BARTLETT, of Preston, Lancashire, admitted 1978, suspended indefinitely and ordered to pay £910 costs. Allegations substantiated he was jailed for six months and disqualified from driving for two years after pleading guilty at Preston Crown Court on 7 March this year to dangerous driving and driving with excess alcohol in his blood. Tribunal told prosecution followed accident in which another motorist and his passenger were seriously injured. His car was found empty on the motorway. He later told police who traced him he had panicked.

DUDLEY ALEXANDER STONES, admitted 1965, practised as Dudley Stones & Co, Wendover, Buckinghamshire, struck off and ordered to pay £840 costs plus £1,367 investigating accountants costs. Allegations substantiated he wrongly drew and used client money and failed to keep proper accounts. Tribunal told £77,149 paid out on eight applications to compensation fund and further claims totalling £236,378 pending.

IAN JAMES CRITCHLEY, 34, admitted 1987, practised as IJ Critchley & Co, Chiselhurst, Kent, fined £250 and ordered to pay £775 costs. Allegations substantiated he failed to provide accountants reports on time.
