New York heavyweights Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom and Sullivan & Cromwell dominate a list of the firms which advise the top 200 financial institutions in the US, according to a survey by The National Law Journal this week. Skadden Arps was retained by 17 of the top 200, while Sullivan & Cromwell advises 16. The next most popular firm was Wachtell Lipton Rosen & Kaltz, which was on the panels of nine companies.
