Nabarro associates have taken a proactive approach to coming up with the firm’s alternative career path structure.
When the firm’s managing partner Nicky Paradise set up the liaison team, comprised of associates and HR executives, she was inundated with ideas of how the firm can further graduate the route from associate to partner.
While associates still have a few months left to finalise their proposal before the partner and associate conferences in November, Paradise said she is impressed with the detailed suggestions so far.
Apparently associates are keen to add several more milestones to the seven-year path, with additional titles before reaching the heady heights of the Nabarro partnership.
The firm only promoted two associates to the partnership last year, so if associates are going to wait longer, a few promotions along the way could help boost morale.
