Scotland’s Burness has announced a 17 per cent rise in turnover, taking gross revenues to £14.9m compared with £12.7m the previous year. Turnover is now almost 50 per cent higher than in 1999-2000. Property and employment netted many new mandates as well as more work from existing clients. Burness also increased its employees last year, while the partner count grew from 30 to 36. The firm became a limited-liability partnership in August.
