Police have raided the Bradford office of Hammond Suddards and arrested four employees on suspicion of dealing the drug ecstasy.
They were arrested in Well Street on Friday 22 October. Four have since been charged.
A source says: “They were clerical staff. The police came into the building and handcuffed them.”
A police spokesman says: “In the afternoon four people were arrested in connection with suspected drug offences. They have been charged with possession with intent to supply a Class A drug.”
A spokesman for Hammonds confirms the arrests. He says: “The investigation was instigated after Hammonds' management passed information on to the police.
“Hammonds assisted the police with their inquiries and has subsequently terminated the employment contracts of all four individuals concerned.”
