Manchester’s James Chapman & Co has appointed Hill Dickinson partner Alison Hart to launch a dedicated fraud unit. Hart specialises in insurance fraud and policy disputes. One of her most high-profile cases was the £4.5m fraudulent claim made by Lord Brocket, who alleged the theft of four classic cars. He was jailed and sentenced to a five-year prison term.
