The haemorrhage of partners from RadcliffesLeBrasseur continues, with Leeds-based Colin Dixon the latest to join the exodus.
The commercial property expert, whose clients have included Tesco, Dixons, UCI Cinemas and Six Continents, has quit the firm to become head of property at Yorkshire firm McCormicks.
Dixon is the third property partner to have left the firm this year, and his departure leaves Radcliffes’ Leeds office with one property partner. Earlier this month, Radcliffes head of property Roger Thornton quit for Maples Teesdale, while Michael Higginson left for Trowers & Hamlins and the firm’s head of commercial dispute resolution, Paul Clements joined Rooks Rider.
RadcliffesLeBrasseur senior partner Robert Vallings admitted the firm had suffered some losses this year, but insisted: “We’re alive and well.”
Richard Moran, head of corporate at McCormicks commented: “Colin has a great deal of skill and experience in a number of the property areas on which we want to concentrate. The addition of his expertise and leadership gives us a real opportunity to forge ahead in the property market.”
