In fact, Timothy Gallwey in The Inner Game of Tennis prescribes exactly this. He points to the number of players who find a major improvement in their game during the Wimbledon tournament.
Demonstration of excellent technique is a vital part of effective coaching. And this applies to advocacy just as much as to tennis. Fortunately, this has been incorporated into the Australian teaching style.
