In brief: Jersey LLP law ready for rubber stamp

The States of Jersey, the legislative assembly to the island of Jersey, has concluded its debate on the detailed articles of the draft limited liability partnerships law. The session, on 3 September, completed the work of an earlier session on 23 July, before the summer recess, when the initial articles of the law were debated and passed in the chamber. Two minor alterations were made to the draft and all that remains is to give the draft its third reading; the law has already been approved in principle. No amendments can be made at the final stage, scheduled for 24 September. All Jersey primary legislation is passed, after third reading, to the Privy Council for approval by the Queen.
