DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary has bolstered its Brussels regulatory team with a new hire from Gide Loyrette Nouel.
Jean Naslin joins DLA Piper as a partner as a member of its EU competition practice. Naslin has acted as of counsel at Gide Loyrette since 2001. He has extensive in-house experience including positions as the general counsel and co-head of EU public affairs at Eurotunnel and vice president legal affairs of the French retail group Promodes.
Naslin’s practice focuses on European law and international trade. The move follows the appointment of Bertold Bär-Bouyssière in October who also joined the firm’s Brussels regulatory group.
Steven De Keyser, regional managing partner said in a statement: ” Bär-Bouyssière and Naslin considerably strengthen our European network, they both will make a significant contribution to our Regulatory practice in Brussels.
In September DLA Piper ramped up its Belgian presence when the partnership voted to take 34 lawyers from Coudert Brothers, including eight partners giving the firm giving the firm more than 100 lawyers in Belgium split between Brussels and Antwerp.
