A pair of French lawyers has launched a new technology, media and telecommunications boutique.

Olivier de Baecque, formerly a lawyer at Salans and Veil Jourde, and film and television specialist Sophie Borowsky launched Borowsky & De Baecque last month (October).

Borowsky described her expertise as complementary to de Baecque’s focus on advising fashion designers, artists, authors and those involved in new technology. The pair advises on litigation, contracts, IP and rights management.

“The idea is to have the best clients possible,” Borowsky said. “There’s a market for small firms if you have a good specialisation.”

The firm currently employs three associates and an intern in addition to the two partners.
