Milk round, aged eight.

What was your worst experience as a trainee?
Accidentally putting curdled cream into a client’s coffee just before he started to speak.

Anywhere and everywhere.

What time do you usually leave the office?
When I run out of chocolate.

What do you do at weekends?
Avoid lawyers and spend time with my family and friends.

What’s your favourite restaurant?
Noorjahan in London.

If you weren’t a lawyer, what would you have been?
Less tired and with more free time.

Who was your mentor or role model?
Elizabeth Garret Anderson – the first woman licensed to practise as a doctor in Britain.

What’s the best thing about your job?
My team.

What’s the toughest thing about your job?
Keeping up with them.

What’s your biggest work/career mistake and what did you learn from it?
Having an office downwind of a serial Eau de Cologne user. I learned how to open all the windows.

What car(s) do you drive?
Audi A3.

What book are you currently reading?
Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire – the book that inspired the Broadway show.
