Private equity partner Tim Eyles has been elected managing partner of Taylor Wessing. He takes over from Michael Frawley, who has been managing partner since 2004.

Eyles, whose term runs for three years, said: “I believe we have an excellent opportunity to push the firm into a different league. We have a unique mix of practices, well-designed to withstand a downturn and are not overexposed to any particular sector.” Eyles has been a member of the international board since 2007, and was head of corporate between 1992 and 1996 and from 1998 to 2004.
