Technology boutique iLaw has continued its expansion drive with the creation of an employment team through the hire of two senior counsel.

Rory O’Connor joins from Furley Page, where he has been a partner and head of employment for five years, while Reinhard Schu was previously a senior associate in Morrison & Foerster‘s London technology team.

Justin Ellis, iLaw founding director, said: “We originally planned to recruit midway through our second year, but we’ve had such a good start that we’ve recruited now. We want to be recognised as a leading technology firm within the next three years.”

The five-lawyer niche firm was set up by partners from Osborne Clarke and DMH Stallard in September 2006 and is looking to grow to 25 fee-earners within three years.
