US firm Hogan & Hartson has lost two key partners from its corporate and employment teams in London.

Jonathan Coppin is leaving the firm to pursue other interests 18 months after joining from Shearman & Sterling.

Coppin, who is advising Ford on the disposal of Jaguar and Land Rover alongside Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom, will leave the firm at the end of the year when the deal is expected to be completed.

Coppin said: “I joined Hogan because I wanted to be a part of developing the corporate practice in London. I think the firm has made a great impression on the London market.”

Employment partner Nicola Walker is leaving the firm but will continue in her part-time role as chairman of the London Central Employment Tribunal.
