Halliwells selected by digital media company over sale

Halliwells has won a role on the sale of digital media agency Greenroom Digital thanks to its contacts with financial advisers Fisher Corporate Finance.

Partner Ian Brent led a team of seven lawyers, which advised the shareholders of Greenroom Digital on its sale to marketing ;company Momentum Worldwide. The firm’s links with Fisher, which ;Halliwells ;has worked with in the past, was the key to the client win.

Brent said: “The challenge was to maintain a great relationship with the buyer, with whom our clients would be working afterwards, while at the same time protecting their interests.”

Greenroom Digital was set up by film director Nick Hamm, who gave Keira Knightley her first big break in cult film The Hole. The company produces digital advertising campaigns and games to support film and product launches.

Fisher and Momentum Worldwide both turned to their in-house counsel for advice.
