Davies Arnold Cooper (DAC) has recruited a new international chief from Clyde & Co as it seeks to ramp up its Latin America practice.
Clydes insurance partner Hermes Marangos has joined DAC as head of international. He was one of the senior partners spearheading Clydes’ insurance and reinsurance operations in Latin America.
The partner will work alongside Paulino Fajardo, who has been appointed as DAC’s first firmwide insurance chief to oversee the practice in its London, Madrid, Manchester and Mexico City offices.
Fajardo, who will lead a team of 80 lawyers, said: “By pulling our teams together into one practice, and with the addition of Hermes, we’ll be able to provide an enhanced service to our international and domestic clients as well as expand our offices further.”
Clydes confirmed the departure of Marangos.
