Two weeks ago Tulkinghorn queried why it was that PR consultancy Grandfield had twice told The Lawyer that its law firm client was unaware it was being sued by a former corporate client.
But hey! It turns out that the law firm, not the PR agency, was wrong after all.
The client was Fladgate Fielder and the firm had neglected to brief its poor PR advisers properly. Tulkinghorn feels he should set the record straight, although he can’t resist a brief ‘tut’, and not to put too fine a point on it: “tut”.
