Leading trust and property barrister Richard de Lacy QC has left 3 Verulam Buildings to join Geoffrey Vos QC’s 3 Stone Buildings.
De Lacy said that he left to join a more chancery-focused set. “A person with a chancery practice needs to be with a critical mass of people doing the same sort of work,” he said.
De Lacy has recently been involved in the liquidation of HIH Casualty and reinsurer General Insurance, and the $600m (£323.7m) arbitration between Swire Properties and the Hong Kong government.
Following De Lacy’s arrival 3 Stone Buildings boasts four silks.
