The M&A market may have dropped off a cliff in the last few years, but those disputes keep rolling in. There’s no shortage, not least in relation to trusts – a fact highlighted in an article last week by Fladgate Fielder solicitor-advocate William Richmond-Coggan. As the litigation star regaled the readership with tales of Part 64 of the Civil Procedure Rules, Tulkinghorn (a die-hard soap fan) couldn’t fail to be struck by the lad’s resemblance to the ill-fated Barry from EastEnders. One trusts that Richmond-Coggan’s affairs of the heart are in better shape than Barry’s (or, for that matter, Barry). If not, Tulkinghorn advises staying away from Beachy Head.
