Lovells is losing its joint managing partner for Singapore to Latham & Watkins.
Paul Supramaniam, an English solicitor specialising in corporate law, is joining Latham & Watkins as a partner resident in the firm's Singapore office. Supramaniam has over 10 years experience in the Asian legal market. Latham now has 14 lawyers based in Singapore.
Lovells senior partner Andrew Walker told The Lawyer: “Paul has decided to seek fresh challenges elsewhere and we wish him well.”
He added that there was no immediate plan to replace Supramaniam. While corporate was suffering particularly badly in current market conditions, projects and banking were doing well, he said.
