Norton Rose is apparently very happy living next to London mayor Ken Livingstone’s City Hall offices by Tower Bridge. So much so that the firm held a family fun day in the summer.
In the concrete More London ‘space’ outside the offices, staff turned up in droves with their spouses and children, who were given laser guns to shoot at stuff.
London managing partner Deirdre Walker said bows and arrows were too dangerous and forbade kids from playing with them.
In Tulkinghorn’s day archery was still a respectable pastime for lawyers and their families on a day off in the country. It seems that the urbanisation of our youth continues apace.
